Adjustment of the thoracic and its junctions: Cervico-thoracic and thoraco-lumbar.
Hosted by the FCA at the St Augustine convention
Presented by Dr. E.Dubarry
This class is part of a series of seminars addressing chiropractors, or students, who want to reach upper levels in “hands on” manipulative treatment.
Purpose of the seminar series
“Provide excellence in a true unified chiropractic formation, using universal concepts and enabling any practitioner to customize his own techniques”.
Those seminars teach a practical hands-on approach on how to maximize your adjustment effectiveness via a universal model “the Arc of Tension” based on a better-known phenomenon named “Tensegrity”. Three books (700 pages 400 videos) have already been published on the subject by the author Dr. E. Dubarry and he has been on the seminar circuit mostly in Europe and South America for the past 30 years. It is the most practical seminars in the states, as the whole theory has been laid out on paper for the participant to read prior or after the seminar.
You will be provided with a unique password to access the online course following your “one on one” live seminar in St Augustine; this is 200 pages with over 80 videos which are included in the price of this seminar.
The only thing left to do is practice, practice, practice, during a full day. The attendees will become, more effective in their results, more structured in their approach, and they will learn how to streamline their practice, and how to enjoy themselves better at work. In the end, they will learn how to reach an unequaled level of precision in the treatment of the spine.
After these seminars a few things will happen:
-
The number of patients you receive at your workplace will increase
-
If you are smaller and lighter weight, you will know how to adapt to treat much bigger and taller patient. (Chiropractic institutions have not adapted their teaching model to the big influx of female chiropractor).
-
You will know how to treat patients that you never thought you would be able to address previously
-
You will have a newfound enthusiasm in your work, which will let you avoid boredom; this is the perfect antidote to “chiropractic burnout”.
-
You will be able to understand the pattern on how to self-improve your adjustment
How are organized the “adjust for success” seminar:
All participants are required to bring a portable table.
All seminars loosely follow this pattern:
-
Anatomical review centered on the adjustments
-
Integrating understanding and balancing the arc of tension model to the area (PRACTICE)
-
The number of techniques taught amount to roughly 20 to 30 for each seminar (Standing, Sitting Prone Supine on the side, on the floor, on a segmental table, on a soccer field, on a kitchen table etc..; all possible patient’s positions are reviewed)
-
Katachiro of the technique presented (PRACTICE) (katachiro = practicing the setup of a technique with virtual patient in order to learn by heart the sequence of application)
-
PRACTICE of each Technique with Doctor/ patient paired.
-
Facilitation of the technique with pair inter change (PRACTICE)
-
Technique associated with the treatment of what condition?
-
Equipment associated with the technique high-low, segment positioning, different drop, percussion etc.)
-
-
Correlation between condition, patient size, doctor size, and technique chosen.
-
Correlation and common point with other techniques (Gonstead, SOT, Activator)
A certificate of completion will be delivered to the attendee upon the completion of this seminar.
